Student incubator
Preparing students for work in an entrepreneurial environment
CTT recognizes the advantages of educating students about entrepreneurship and early involvement in entrepreneurial activities, which is why the student technological-entrepreneurial incubator was founded. The student incubator operates in a co-working space reserved for FAMENA students. The space is fully technically equipped (computers, high-speed Internet, furniture). Professional and business mentoring, and other types of support activities are also available to students.
The main goal of the student incubator is to prepare students for work in an entrepreneurial environment and to ensure the conditions for:
• Development of projects based on knowledge and modern technologies
• Connecting with the economy
• Development of technological projects based on industry needs
• Business activities
Through incubation activities and programs, students have the opportunity for education with the aim of acquiring additional knowledge and skills (by solving specific problems of business entities), which can positively affect their employability after completing their education. The concept of a student incubator enables the recognition of talented students in a certain engineering field and encourages their professional development at an early stage. Cooperation with companies looking for solutions to a specific problem and involving students with the best possible solutions can result in benefits for all the parties involved.
The ultimate goal of the incubation process is for students to apply the acquired theoretical knowledge and prepare them for independent work, opportunity recognition, business planning and increasing the success of their entrepreneurial ventures. By educating students about entrepreneurial activities and providing them support in practical work on specific ideas and projects, the incubator prepares students for a more successful transition from the educational to the business world. This way, students become more aware of opportunities and needs on the job market, they are more flexible and adaptable in terms of training, practice, self-employment, job change and lifelong education, which in turn affects increasing competitiveness and reducing high youth unemployment.
