Center of Technology Transfer Incubator represents a stimulating environment for the development of academic entrepreneurship. The goal of the incubator is to help current and former students and employees to open new companies. The incubator is in the premises of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Naval Architecture. The incubation services are provided to newly founded companies, which were created in the cooperation between FAMENA and the economy. The annual number of incubated companies is between 14 and 17. The development of start-up and spin-off companies is encouraged by providing an access to infrastructure and space for work at prices that are lower than market prices.
