Center for technology transfer at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Naval Architecture, University of Zagreb, is looking for an expert who will take a leading role in the preparation, implementation and development of scientific-research, innovation and projects technology transfer.
Job description:
- participates in scientific work on scientific and development projects
- develops and implements research strategies and methodologies, independently coordinates projects from start to finish and leads a team of researchers
- manages budgets, analyzes data and reports to key stakeholders
- provides mentorship to researchers and team members
- ensures compliance with ethical standards and compliance with applicable regulations
- identifies and secures sources of funding and prepares applications for grants and projects
- monitors national and international competitions (scientific, innovative, educational, technological)
- prepare and coordinate project applications, including the required documentation
- publishes research results and participates in scientific and professional conferences
- participate in projects to strengthen capacity for innovation and technology transfer
- assists research groups and industry partners in establishing cooperation on research, development and innovation projects
- maintains an archive of documentation for projects working to ensure the audit of the footprint
- cooperates with domestic and international institutions, agencies and ministries
Conditions:
- Completed postgraduate studies at the University (Doctor of Sciences)
- at least 5 years of experience in research and project implementation
- active knowledge of English (speaking and writing)
- computer skills and digital project management tools
- experience in the preparation and implementation of EU and international projects (Horizon Europe, Erasmus+, Interreg, Innovation Norway, etc.)
- understanding the process of commercialization of research results and technology transfer
- strong organizational, analytical and communication skills
- proactivity, creativity and self-reliance
- desire to acquire new knowledge and improve in the field of innovation and technology transfer
